Title: Trace Elements - Artist: Greg Matthews (2018 - Storm water meanders its way down irregular tracks, eventually finding its way to the dry Australian water holes. The steady flow of water over the parched earth creates a force that erodes and exposes the beautiful colours of the natural elements and minerals.)

My painting depicts the vibrant colours of Australia, and shows some of the animals that can be found across this vast land. Sadly, two of these are now extinct in Tasmania.)
Title: Looking Forward, Looking Back - Artist: Greg Matthews (2020 - Thinking about our ancestors, this painting is dedicated to those who have lost family ties and/or cultural connections. The tri-coloured curving bands on my painting represent the paths travelled by people trying to reconnect with lost or deprived family history, while the shapes and infill colours remind me of my ancestors country, and my own lost connections with family and culture.)
Title: The Roaring Forties - Artist: Greg Matthews (2019 This Painting is a tribute to my ancestors, they endured many hardships living in the Arthur River area of Tasmania’s North West coast. My painting shows trees and bushes being buffeted by strong winds, leaves are caught in the gusts and are widely dispersed. The central circular area of my painting and the interconnecting circular areas depict water, while the outer central circular band shows some of my ancestor’s ancient symbols. The edges of my painting show the Forrest floor, while the landscape is depicted by the curving bands of coloured dots. The waving blue dots at the top of my painting indicate the sky, the sun is also shown.)
