Australian Centre for Photography

The Australian Centre for Photography (ACP) is the leading national organisation dedicated to photography.

The ACP provides exhibition, education and community programs to engage audiences in a dynamic conversation about the role photography plays in visual culture.

As one of the longest running not for profit contemporary art spaces, founded in 1973, the ACP has been a creative force in the cultural life of Australia for over 40 years. Head-quartered in Sydney, the ACP fosters partnerships to present innovative programs, regionally, nationally and internationally.

Acknowledgement of Country

The Indigenous Art Code acknowledges the traditional owners and custodians of Country throughout Australia and recognises their continuing connection to the land, sea and community. We pay our respects to them and their cultures; and to their Elders past, present and future
