Black Wattle Country

Black Wattle Country is an Aboriginal owned enterprise that works across a variety of platforms in the creative and design sector to address inequality, improve and build capacity within our communities and support connection to, and healing of, Country.

Black Wattle Country facilitates art commissions and design consultation with a focus on embedding Aboriginal cultural practice and First Nations knowledge in project and organisational processes and outcomes. This includes working with architects, designers and landscape architects on embedding projects and developments on Country.

Black Wattle Country connects a growing network of artists to opportunities identified through our allies, partners and clients.
Black Wattle Country provides a scaffolding of support for our artists, ensuring their knowledge and contributions are valued and heard.
