JARAWEE is the language name given to Briana as a baby by the last initiated Djabugay man in Kuranda. JARAWEE means 'Pretty Little Bird'
Venturing in owning her first business Din Din Arts Gallery Artist/Owner to gracing her next business which began hand painting, customising and personalising fashionable accessories such as Handbags, heels and clutches.
JARAWEE produces rich and innovative Aboriginal artwork on fashionable accessories. Her artwork is versatile to be seen on heels, handbags, clutches to Football boots and Rugby League Jerseys.
JARAWEE's designs have been worn by Queensland Politians, Rugby League Players and high profile women in our community of Cairns.
JARAWEE's fashions has graced the stages of the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair Fashion Show, Cairns Rifts (Regional Indigenous Fashion and Textile Show, ,Melbourne Fashion Festival with various designers from Cairns Indigenous Art Fair and Black, Bold & Beautiful, Brisbane and Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival- Global Indigenous Runway 2020.
