Macquarie Group Limited
The Macquarie Group Collection has been supporting emerging Australian artists since 1987 by acquiring and displaying their works in Macquarie offices. Part of the Macquarie Group Foundation, the Collection’s theme is The Land and its Psyche, reflecting the diversity of the Australian landscape as seen through the eyes of its artists. Macquarie’s continuing support of Indigenous artists and curators included the 2017 Macquarie Group First Nations Emerging Curator Award in conjunction with The Australia Council for the Arts. Now comprising more than 850 works selected by a volunteer committee of Macquarie Group staff and a curatorial expert, the Collection is on display in around 40 Macquarie offices worldwide.
