Muddy Water Studio (MWS) is Renai's ode to beauty. Inspired by her heritage, the inland waters of NSW and the beauty of life the water brings, the Lotus flower growing in the murky mud, as well as one of her favorite mediums, stoneware clay. Renai's creative expression is an exploration of her cultural identity and place in the world. From the Pagan rhythms of Scotland to 65,000+ years of Aboriginal Australia. Honouring her heritage through love of Country; the colours, energy, history and beauty of place, experimenting with different mediums and techniques to bring ideas to life.
