Support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists

If you are an artist concerned about a commercial arrangement you have entered into or are considering entering into, Indigenous Art Code (IartC) is here to help.

We support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists to make informed decisions when selling and licensing their art.

IartC facilitates transparent communication between artists and member businesses or individuals who sell or license their art, providing advice and referrals to other support organisations when required.

We advocate for a fair, ethical, transparent, and respectful art market in which Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists are paid fairly with clear terms and where their Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property Rights are respected.

Artist Membership of Indigenous Art Code is free.
