Cairns Indigenous Art Fair (CIAF)

CIAF is Australia's premier Indigenous art fair, celebrating the dynamic and diverse artforms and cultures of Queensland's First Nations artists, designers and performers. Since 2009, CIAF has played a unique and pivotal role in forging and promoting the contemporary Indigenous art industry of Queensland. CIAF's contribution to the economic benefits of artists, their communities and the economy of our host city, Cairns, tallies in the millions. As such, CIAF is committed to strengthening and celebrating culture, creating professional development opportunities for artists and facilitating ethical and meaningful cultural exchange between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. Held annually, CIAF is a multi-arts event, boasting art displays, exhibitions, performances (musical, comedy and dance), fashion, and more.
