Marrawuddi Arts and Culture
Marrawuddi is seen by many as a flagship signaling Jabiru's positive future as the town undergoes its Mirarr-led transition from mining town to regional service hub and tourism centre. Since Marrawuddi's move to the re-purposed bakery, Marrawuddi has released their Stone Country Collection in collaboration with North and Injalak along with successfully shortlisting artists into 2021's NATSIAA & Salon De Refuses as well as participating in this years Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair. Marrawuddi is owned and run by the Mirarr Traditional Owners through their organisation, Gundjeihmi Aboriginal Corporation, and all proceeds from Marrawuddi are used in Gundjeihmi's community work.
