I am a 32 year old Gumbaynggirr woman raised in Red Rock NSW and mother to 4 daughters. My Indigenous family history is from Durug and Ngarigo country. I began painting in hospital after many admissions for mental health issues over the past 3 years, this is where my healing and recovery began, this is where I found joy and belonging. I am very passionate about mental health and normalising these struggles, offering hope to others, and making changes in the system. In the future I hope to combined my love of art and culture with mental health advocacy as a profession.
