My name is T'keyah Ware, I'm 17 years of age (2019) I started painting when I was 15 years old by watching my mum paint and listened to all her stories that she was told to by her Grandmother. My painting Titled: Mothers Country has motivated me for the first time to enter this year's Our Young Mob Exhibition.

I have been taught how to dot paint by my mother Kelly Taylor, Mum has passed the knowledge, painting techniques and Traditions of their country which she learned from her grandmother Millie Taylor (nee Lennon) down to me.

I have found a love of Art and learning more about my culture and hopefully I gain more knowledge/skill needed to be a successful artist and build a collection of beautiful pieces in the future. I invest a lot of time and patience into my art to create these fine paintings.
