Quandamooka Noonuccal

I am a proud Quandamooka Noonuccal woman and contemporary Aboriginal artist whose work is grounded in connection to Country, culture, and community. My art weaves together storytelling, symbolism, and lived experience, drawing inspiration from the relationships that connect people to place, from our Mother Earth, Father Sky, and all their creations that guide us.

Through murals, canvases, and public artworks, I aim to create pieces that invite reflection, conversation, and connection across generations.

With a background in painting and decorating, I bring strong craftsmanship to my practice, blending technical skill with cultural expression. I work closely with clients on commissioned pieces, taking time to understand their stories and intentions. Each commission is personalised through a respectful, collaborative process that upholds cultural integrity and ensures the final artwork is meaningful and appropriate.

I maintain strong relationships with Indigenous communities across Australia and am honoured to be recognised by several Brisbane family groups for my ongoing support and mentorship in the painting industry. I also hold deep mutual respect with full‑blood Indigenous groups in Central Australia, shaped through years of painting alongside Traditional Owners. These connections guide my practice, from my saltwater roots to my freshwater cultural ties.
