Mardawi Aboriginal Corporation

Mardawi Aboriginal Corporation is a Ngarrindjeri-led organization based in Murray Bridge, South Australia, dedicated to strengthening culture, community, and creative enterprise. Founded and governed by local Aboriginal women, Mardawi operates as a hub for cultural learning, art, and social wellbeing — empowering community through connection to Country and culture.

Our programs and enterprises include weaving and cultural workshops, youth entrepreneurship training, leadership and wellbeing initiatives, and the Mardawi Art Gallery, which showcases the stories and skills of Ngarrindjeri and other First Nations artists. Through hands-on learning and intergenerational knowledge sharing, Mardawi supports pathways to employment, self-determination, and cultural pride.

With a vision to create sustainable opportunities grounded in Ngarrindjeri values of respect, kinship, and reciprocity, Mardawi continues to build partnerships across the arts, education, tourism, and community development sectors. Every project we deliver celebrates the strength and creativity of our people and contributes to a stronger, more connected future for all.
