Casey the artist behind Black Coral Art is from the Nunukul peoples who traditionally lived on Menjerribah. Having grown up away from Menjerribah and Aboriginal culture, discovering art has been a way for Casey to connect in some way to her culture. Self-taught and constantly learning each piece is an opportunity to reflect and feel closer to her culture and heritage.
